  1. Actually you should try to reuse the bottles, the plastic dropper thing you can buy new ones I guess if u really want for only a few cents. Red Sandalwood and sandalwood are both endangered and threatened species so I’d say use something else maybe cedar? I do like the swirling of the incense ingredients though.

  2. Can you use the same bottle if you are making the same oil again?

You mentioned on the vid that you can’t use the bottle again once its finished and it made me wonder whether if it was the same with using the bottle if you are making it again to save money.

Also do you know where to get the citrine crystals used for the oils?

  4. thank u for showing this… I make a lot of my own incenses. I struggle with them though because 2 of my girls in the coven cant be around flowers GASP… once i figure out how to make safe incenses for every sabbat i will be happy

  11. yay ostara on sunday yayyyyyyyyyy

  12. yay!!!!!!!!! OSTARA on sunday :)

  13. Yes that is how I do it anyway. It can be a bit messier until you get use to it. Try to keep your hand as steady as you can.

  14. LOL yes. The chop sticks you get at Asian food places or in American shops is the oriental equivalent of plastic ware. If you go to an Asian food market they have sets of stainless steel chopsticks.

Also if you have any Asian markets….oriental or middle eastern they are best places to get herbs for cooking. So much cheeper than in American markets.

  15. no, sorry! it was just something i was fiddling with (i like to make mixes for fun!) i came about it accidentally while looking up herbs for love for my bedroom altar! it started with 5 herbs, then 9, then a grouping of 9 then 5 then 3 mixed, with 2 personal herbs to represent the couple. it smells great until you add the spicy herbs…i accidentally over did it the first time, lol!

  16. Your happy marriage mix sounds great. Do you have a vid?

  17. @fotogrl1 Yeah! I find boiling to work great for cleaning them out too. :)

I much prefer to re use oil bottles if I have empties. I don’t re use the plastic dropper, I throw that bit out, and just clean out the bottle.

I figure – meh – I have enough of a steady hand to pour drops from a small bottle neck without a dropper.

Use charcoal blocks and a heat proof container with sand.

  21. i absolutely love this page! awesome videos and great tips from other pagans :D

  22. I use alcohol to clean my dropper between oils…. the alcohol evaporates and takes the oil away…. just a tip!

  23. Then I’m definitely going to try the sterilizing technique you told me. I have pretty easy access to buying more, so that would definitely help. :) Thanks!

  24. I would go with sterilizing versus just rinsing off, just because essential oils tend to leave alot of fragrance behind, and you wouldn’t want to cross-contaminate your other oils etc. This way they won’t get any of another scent and will retain their original properties.

  25. Thanks! I’ll definitely try that. However, I was planning to rinse the dropper in water if I have to use it two or three times in succession.

For example, I’m planning to make the Florida Water that Krazyboytx has a video for, and the droper would allow for much easier measuring. I’d probably have to use the same dropper about 5 times :S but I’d rinse it thoroughly between oils, to reduce the chances of cross contamination. Do you think I should use another method?
