What is the difference between a Standard Fender Stratocaster and an American Fender Statocaster?

I’m looking to purchace a Fender and I don’t want to make the wrong financial move, so what are the major differences between those guitars, and are they worth the $400+ price difference?

  1. Fender Stratocasters made in Americas are known for more of brand name than specs, but I do agree that American Stratocasters do use better hard wares than the standard stratocasters made in mexico or squire ones.

However I recommend you get Stratocasters with humbucker on bridge position and wilkinson tremolos from other brands, because they tend to stay in tune better.
