I purchased this fan to replace one that finally failed that I used beside my bed while sleeping. I recieved and easily assembled the fan, turned it on, and barely heard a sound. I put my hand up to it and felt the breeze and was excited! My excitement went away quickly as it began to make a clicking sound… I turned it off, back on… clicking. I turned it upside down and shook it… clicking sounds. So I returned it (the seller was wonderful) and received a new one, days later. Took it out of the box but didnt assemble it and heard something rattle inside. I tilted it and saw a white plastic dowel rolling around in it. I dumped it out and plugged in the fan which then make a clicking sound immediately – different than the first but clicking loudly. So I’m returning them both for a refund.

so far i like it its smaller than my other once and works great the only things i have a problem with is the high speed isent veary strong more like a med or low and every thing i package and instructions where all in spanish no engish at all anny where wich was veary disapoiting beaing the we live in the usa not mexico

If you want a show off that is reviewed well in amazon, buy this. If you really care about a good fan with a lot of air flow, this is NOT it. I picked up something for 40 bucks from TARGET that works much better than this fan. I trusted these other reviewers and the Amazon bestseller sorting but am very disappointed with this fan.

My girlfriend bought this from Amazon and had them send to me as a Birthday gift! I was so startled when she told me to look out for it, since she wasn’t sure of the shipping arrival therefore wanted me to know, though she wanted it to remain a surprise. Well it WAS anyway. I was so thrilled, her knowing that I really needed a quieter fan than the Turbos that I have, being responsible for my TV throughout the night having to be so loud to overpower the Turbo’s noise, that the neighbors had been complaining…..>
If you need a next to SILENT fan [especially on low, but ALSO on high it's still lower than anything I've EVER had and so unnoticeable] then this is the fan for you! Don’t even HESITATE because I’m someone to whom quiet was very important AND who needs a big gale of wind, but as I had it, I realized the wind was actually OK, after at first thinking it wasn’t forceful enough, and using my Turbo with it only DAYS, but often turn that off and just use this Tower and have it a couple weeks used constantly…. But now I have a question….>
QUESTION: She originally thought that this was detachable for cleaning in sink. I see nowhere in the YES, as another said `’skimpy instructions” about the `cleaning’ of it inside. Does it need cleaning? It says nothing about that IN the instructions NOR have any reviewers here mentioned anything about that either, or maybe don’t have it long enough for it to become an issue yet, or maybe so exited with a new product to not care yet LOL, as I sometimes am….>
Ohhhh forgot, I’m a heavy SMOKER, which is also why she got it…. The ionizer portion makes my bedroom NOT smell of smoke anymore when I enter it walking back from another room which I DID used to always smell in this room, but….no more. Thought at first it was my imagination but now see it NEVER smells from smoke anymore. Wonderful product and GORGEOUS, matching my modern Black & Silver apartment! But I AM concerned if it requires cleaning/maintenance, as all fans do, since there’s actually 3 fans inside, there is no way to clean through the small slots, nor even be able to SEE where it would be cleaned INSIDE, nor how to get to it…..>
True as someone said, I too wish the remote was bigger but only afraid of losing it if not putting back into it’s slot at the machine’s base but I keep it next to me instead, just have to be very CAREFUL that I don’t misplace it because of it’s size, and yes, as another reviewer also said, it’s tricky opening and closing the small battery compartment. Took a while and a lot of maneuvering to get it closed after just checking what battery it takes [3V circular]. But yet another viewer who had trouble with the BASE assembly, I think had a misfit. This doesn’t have 11 screws nor a tube part, etc. Takes a few minutes to get the two base plastic parts ALIGNED, that’s all, once that’s figured out, screwing them on is a breeze with a Phillips, and is done and very sturdy. Just have patience and don’t get frustrated lol I think I remember 5 screws, two on one half of base, and 3 on the other and it all fits in beautifully and tower is very stable. I love this, and being VERTICAL, is such a space saver, which is much thinner than it looks in photo, which also pleasantly surprised me! Just afraid of any maintenance that might be required regarding CLEANING, if anyone can help Thanks so much. [Oscillation is a choice, but I prefer straight direction on Me].

I bought more than a month ago. It’s not assembled correctly when arrived, a plastic part of the main body is lock outside, I had to re-assemble by myself again. Then fan is good and the wind is cool, but maybe inside turing setting problem that it can’t blow all degree of its open area, just 2/3 from its left side, there’s no wind at all on the 1/3 part, so sometimes I need to turn the whole machine body if need to blow the right side of the room. And after 3 days, you can hear some osscilation noise when it turn from the left side, but not very loud. I couldn’t feel the different air with Ionizer function on and off, so use it few. Anyway, the remote control is easy to use and convenient.
