I have two questions about this mask. It sounds great, but has anyone tried it while sleeping on their stomach? And are the colored ones as good as the black? (I obviously don’t own this so have no opinion, but they made me choose some stars. Sorry to screw up the ratings.)

I moved to an apartment that gets a lot of light in the morning, and curtains just don’t cut it. Now that I’ve bought this mask, I can finally sleep in for once!
The mask material is soft and I like the molded cups that give your eyes some breathing space. I can open my eyes while wearing the mask and my eyelashes just brush the inside of the mask. Since I wear contact lenses during the day, having some air around my eyes at night is great to let them breathe a bit.
The other reviews are correct that the elastic strap does fasten in the back with velcro, so this may be annoying for some people. It doesn’t really bother me all that much, or perhaps I’ve just gotten used to it. I am also blessed to have a face that fits the mask pretty well, so I can position the mask on my face to avoid the light leaks around the nose area that some other reviewers mentioned. Even when the mask slips a bit so that some light comes in, the amount of light is very minimal and I still get a good night’s sleep.
I am not a very deep sleeper, so there are times during the night (usually in the very early morning) when I’ll wake up a bit and be conscious of the mask on my face, especially if I’m sleeping on my side. Likewise, there are some times when the light wakes me up early in the morning and I realize that I’ve taken off the mask in the middle of the night. Maybe I find it uncomfortable in my sleep; I don’t know. But I can put the mask back on and conk out again. And I generally don’t have a problem with wearing the mask while sleeping on my side, even though occasionally I’ll be aware of it.
The mask has definitely helped me get a better night’s sleep in bed. I’m looking forward to taking it on airplanes, because I think it would really come in handy there. The best part is the molded cups for the eyes, which make the mask very comfortable to wear.

After having extensively researched these online, I was eager to try it out: and it is fabulous!
The perfect shape for my extra large head;stylish patterns; and best of all, light as a feather–the Tempurpedic one I used to have but never used felt like a fleece covered brick lying on my face.
It’s cut extremely large, and I don’t understand people’s complaints about light leaking–it’s not spywear; presumably your eyes are closed at night, so a tiny bit of light is no problem. And the strap is very unobtrusive–I fasten it under my hair, don’t feel it at all, and it keeps my hair fluffy and off my neck.
Very well thought out and constructed–I immediately ordered 3 more as gifts.
My sleep has improved immensely since using this!!!!

I bought this mask for my business traveling husband. The mask was a little bigger than I had expected(it makes him look like a bug!), but he says that it has been comfortable and only lets in a little bit of light at the nose.
