I was having a small noise problem with some neighbors whose schedule differed from mine by several hours, and needed to find some earplugs to prevent unneeded strife. I ran across an excellent review by Ulrich Boser on Slate – [...]- and took his advice to try the Hearos Ultimate Softness earplugs first, and haven’t found any reason to try any others. They’re very comfortable – no trouble sleeping with them in. Sound attentuation is excellent and broad band (neighbor noise problem solved), but the attenuation is so good, it’s easy to miss ones alarm clock in the morning. A pair is typically good for a couple of weeks before the interior foam cells break down and they won’t stay compressed long enough to insert them.

Seriously, i have tried many different products. This one works the best!!! I can wear it all day long without feeling being stabbed in my ears.

You don’t even feel them in your ears, which is common with other ones. They block more sound than average ones as well. I don’t want to use any other product. I’m sold
