These devices (netbooks, PDA’s, computers, etc) would be more useful without so many dramatic changes. Incremental changes could accomplish same, but not as profitable. For example, switch from WinXP to Win7 causing numerous software apps, right along with related data files, to no longer work. Thus, extremely hesitant to store valuable data on these devices. Paper in a file cabinet is safer.
Hey does someone know how to take off the mousepad thing, clicker. I mean the when you dont have a mouse in a laptop, i mean portable mouse and you have this thing with what you move the mouse on the screen, and i would want to take off the thing that if you press it too hard it clicks, i dont mean those two things that woy click with, i mean the pad thing. I want to take off the option that id you pressthe pad too hard it clicks so please tell me a way to disable the click. PLEAAAASEEEEEEEEE
you can use an external port and connect it via USB or even put the disc into a computer and the save it onto a USB and load it onto the eee pc that way….btw this works i have an eee pc so I thought of that too at first.

yeah the 1000HEB is the bestbuy version and that one is a stripped down version
mines didnt came with a sleeve .. I think i got a returned one .. i bought mines from best buy
sorry but i heard on newegg that the Best Buy version comes with a weaker battery!
ASUS has a greater battery life, otherwise the same
because you can hook up a external drive then u can play dvds
help!! which ones better?? MSI WIND U100 LXP+ or the Asus Eee Pc 1000H??
thank you
at best buy for 349 U.S Dollars
does anyone know where can i buy it?
no thanks this only cost $399 compared to an overpriced mac
A better question: Why does it come bundled with a DVD player when it doesn’t have a drive.
Yes. It’s only 1.3megapixel, but it’s more than sufficient for Skype. Other than a nearly-too-small keyboard, it’s actually quite a little champ.
this thing is useless, way to small, way pointless, AND it’s a PC !
Go MAC’s !!!!
