How do make an egg incubator?

I found an egg before and I tried to incubate it, but I failed. Any suggestions for a good way to make a homemade incubator?

  1. You can make one pretty easily, but getting the right temperature and humidity is the trick, then turning the eggs on a regular schedule. You can use a wooden box and a lightbulb, it’s that simple.

  2. You really shouldn’t be taking bird eggs and trying to incubate them. If you found it on the ground, just leave it. The egg will either be found by its mother or it will decay and re-nourish the soil. When you take eggs from their original place, the mother will become frantic and distressed. Also, there is a very small chance of the chick even surviving if it was born. So, don’t incubate eggs…just leave them.

  3. Here’s a fairly reasonable one on E-Bay

  4. Find a wooden box , cut the top and otherside open , put small ripped up twigs, or nest material.

    For the heat and warmth, attach a lightbulb on the top of it and it should give it warmth, and put the box somewhere 75 to 85 ish where to add moisture so when it hatches it’ll be easier for it to break through. tell me if its a m or f;
    and… from then on you could wait until the chick comes out of its shell for the great results!
