I live in Australia and gave a Kindle to my wife as a gift for her … years old and one of the thing s that really upset my was that the kindle package didn’t come with the wall charger, so she would need to charge through her computer. Since I was about to visit customers in LA I decide to buy on Amazon the “traveler wall charger” to assist her to charge her device on the car, while in bed using the wall socket.
I receive the box, confirmed the number of the items and gave to her yesterday.
She was really happy before she tried to recharge, but not afterwards.
The “traveler dock” is only for 110v countries, so She burned by accident, because in Australia the power supply is 240v.
There wasn’t a description of the voltage available. In the end I paid for something that I cannot use by.
Very shame for Amazon and poor description.
So if the description is not responding what you need or it is trick, PLEASE ASK to be sure you won’t feel the same “dumb”feeling that I am now.

I bought this for, obviously, my Kindle 2. When I got them I was surprised by their high quality look, that was before I tried them. Now I KNOW that they are high quality… and for suc a microscopic price!
The wall adapter is great, but doesn’t look really good with the Kindle charger, but that’s nit why I bought it, and I still haven’t gotten the chance to use the car adapter, but I’m sure it’ll be excellent, as is the case with the the wall and the car adapters, and the Screen protector and the headphones as well!
